The Restaurant at The Russell is inspired by Scottish influences with a traditional yet contemporary edge. Head chef Michael Smith has developed a dinner menu that not only utilizes the most seasonal of flavours, but also showcases the local produce provided by the wealth of dedicated and talented producers and suppliers that we have on our doorstep.

We at The Russell believe that to truly appreciate a special occasion with friends and family, you must also choose the right venue. The Russell Hotel is very proud to have one of the most sought after private dining venues in St Andrews ‘The Locker Room’. Adorning the walls of this very special room, are wooden golf lockers, celebrating each and every professional golfer that has ever won The Open Championship over the historical Old course since it was played and won by Tom Kidd in 1873. The Bar
